MetaboLead HDL-C
MetaboLead HDL-C is a test kit is for quantitative measurement of HDL cholesterol (HDL-C) for automated clinical chemistry analyzers.
Outlines
- Selective Inhibition Method: no use of bivalent metallic element such as Mg2+
- Excellent correlation with Designed Comparison Method (DCM) by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
- Excellent reactivity to all kinds of HDL-C (Free, Ester, and ApoE-rich)
- Excellent specificity
- Almost no non-specific reaction to other lipoprotein cholesterols such as VLDL and LDL except for HDL
- CDC certified
MetaboLead LDL-C
MetaboLead LDL-C is a test kit is for quantitative measurement of LDL cholesterol (LDL-C) ) for automated clinical chemistry analyzers.
Outlines
- Direct measurement of LDL cholesterol
- Selective solubilization method
- Excellent correlation with beta-Quantification (βQ method)
- Excellent correlation with Designated Comparison Method by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
- Excellent specificity to LDL cholesterol
- Excellent correlation with the Friedewald formula
- CDC certified
MetaboLead RemL-C
What is Remnant cholestrrol (RemL-C)?
VLDL-remnant and Chylomicron (CM) remnant, these two types of remnants are known. Those are the intermediate metabolites of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) and CM, respectively. The remnant lipoproteins are usually metabolized very quickly. However, since the remnants are easily phagocytosed by macrophages, they are also reported to be deeply involved in the pathogenesis and progress of arteriosclerosis and to be a risk factor of coronary artery disease.
Outlines
MetaboLead RemL-C test kit is for quantitative measurement of remnant lipoprotein cholesterol in human serum.
- Direct detection of CM remnant and VLDL remnant selectively
- Enzymatic method
- Two-reagent system in a liquid format
- Applicable to automated clinical chemistry analyzers
- Total 10-minute reaction time
